What's realer than hip-hop?
I went to this concert in Miami last year and it was highlight of my summer. Here’s an overview of this years festival at Bayfront Park in the MIA.
Some performers at Bayfront Park amphitheater spoke and rhymed about the need to “take hip hop back,” presumably from a crop of artless, money-crazed knuckleheads. Los Angeles rapper Murs even called one out by name, the million-selling, teenaged mumbler known as Soulja Boy. Murs joked that he would “smack him” on sight, even at the risk of getting beaten up.

I would smack Soulja Boy, too. Not because he makes wack songs. I would smack him because he doesn’t realize he makes wack songs.
