It was recently reported on Hiptics that 50 Cent landed on top of Forbes List of Hip Hop’s Cash Kings. He raked in a reported $150,000,000 in 2008 (thank you Vitamin Water).

The new king of hip-hop wealth banked $100 million after taxes on one deal alone when his stake in VitaminWater’s parent, Glacéau, was bought by Coca-Cola (nyse: KO – news – people ) as part of a $4.1 billion deal. 50’s portfolio also includes the popular G-Unit clothing line and record label, plus films, videogames and a slew of platinum albums, including last year’s Curtis. I think because of his popularity and success, people tend to overlook Fiddy’s musical contributions. Take a look at all the projects he has been involved with as an artist and/or business man. Keep in mind that these albums have all been released in the past 5 years! Also remember that album sales have been steadily declining since 2003 so Curtis wasn’t as big of a failure as it looks on paper.
