Sarah Palin was Miss Wasilla in 1984
I said from the beginning that choosing Sarah Palin as a running mate was going to blow up in McCain’s face.  It seems that this is happening sooner than expected.

Check out this video of Gov. Palin’s interview with Katie Couric. Ouch!

Katie Couric: I’m going to ask you one more time…specific examples in [McCain's] 26 years of pushing for more regulation?
Gov. Palin: I’ll try to find some, and I’ll bring em to ya.

I don’t think it matters what Matt Damon thinks about politics, but he pretty much summarizes my thoughts about Sarah Palin in this video.

you are a complete and utter idiot. What, are you 12? Moron. You really should get a clue, because you clearly don’t have one. Go back to school, but remember, the real world is out there, and you don’t learn that in school.

Because you are a moron, I will educate you….the Damon thing was a movie script. And you are going to inherit the earth…..LOLOLOLOLOL. I am so glad my children have brains…..

The Couric interview ended with Palin making a joke. She doesn’t know all the specific economic agendas McCain has pushed in his time as senator, does that make her a bad choice for vice-president? Give me a break. We can’t get into the habit of taking a 5 minute clip and saying she gets owned. All Couric does is ask the same question more than once, that is not owning someone, that is just pressing for information. Stick to relevant political news.

The Matt Damon video is uninformative, funny, ignorant, and aloof all at once. Matt Damon says himself that he doesn’t know anything about Sarah Palin. He’s not planning on learning more about her. I don’t listen to people’s opinions just because they have them. A lazy Matt Damon’s opinion is probably way off target. He is a great actor though.

I think you both are missing the objective facts:

    Sarah Palin is anti-1st Ammendment.

    Banning books? She’d do it.

    Sarah Palin is anti-science.

She is for teaching abstinence. This really works well. You can tell by the lump on her 17-year old daughters stomach.

    Sarah Palin is uninformed.

She does not know what the Bush doctrine is. She said as recently as September 14th that we’re in Iraq to make sure the folks that attacked on 9/11 can’t do it again.

What’s the difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom? Lipstick.
Does this have anything to do with anything? No.

Charles: I’m 21. Thanks for reading Hiptics!

Ben: Did you watch the interview? She was answering with talking points every time and could not point to a single example of John McCain being a reformer of Wall Street. Ask Joe Biden those same questions… And how is a one-on-one interview with the person who could be the first female VP not relevant political news? The title reflects my opinion. The content speaks for itself.

As for the Matt Damon clip…I clearly said it doesn’t matter what Matt Damon thinks but he sums up how I feel about the choice. It’s absurd! He should have picked Romney. It’s the economy…stoopid! Not Alaska and it’s view of Russia.

Palin wanting books banned is almost certainly false.

At first I didn’t think Palin would be a bad VP and that her ineptitude was being severely overstated. But after seeing these recent interviews she’s given (anything after her RNC speech), it has become clear that if she could be president, anyone with the ability to talk could be president. These interviews are just painful to watch and embarrassing. I don’t know how anyone could watch these Couric interviews without wanting to put a bullet in their head (okay, I’m exaggerating a little.. I’m not quite that mentally ill). She makes Bush look borderline genius. She has absolutely nothing with substance to say.

The video is irrelevant to Sarah Palin’s status as a quality decision-maker. The public chooses a president to make decisions, beyond being history buffs, or knowing all the background information of their running mate. I would like to see Biden answer questions on Obama’s previous stances regarding the economy. Obama hasn’t passed any economic reforms in the Senate as far as I know.
