We here at Hiptics.com are divided on an issue, and its not whether Blagojevich swearing in the IL Senate is more ironic than the Gift of the Magi. Cfro has voiced his opinion, he is anti-wayne to the core. (Editors Note: I made a pro-Weezy post today!) I am here to let you know Lil Wayne is still Weezy the Beast, and quite possible the greatest rapper alive.

Cfro's hatred makes me cry
Cfro has been staunchly anti-Wayne since he discovered Drake may be ghost writing for Wayne. Did you know that Cfro is absurdly pro-Obama, and Obama doesn’t write all his own speeches? If Lil Wayne is fake for having a ghost writer, then logically, so is Obama. We as Americans allow politicans to have speech writers because they further the politicans message while unifying and strengthing the delivery and content. If a rappers message is still the same, is it wrong to have a ghost writer?
If you follow the underground releases on DatPiff.com you can see that Wayne has new verses that drop every week. He is constantly releasing new material. With as busy and addicted as he is,it would be impossible for him to write all of his own music that frequently. I listen to Wayne for his delivery and flow, and yes his word play (which may or may not be original). I do not believe Weezy is inactive in the lyric creating process, but i do think he may get help from time to time. And if politicians can do it, why not rappers? I still bump Da Drought 3. This is Lil Wayne, not some A Milli-Vanilli fraud, if he doesn’t write ALL his own stuff, for me he is still the greatest rapper alive – JHScherck

1. I am not absurdly pro-Obama. I was absurdly in favor of him over John McCain. I will judge Obama after he is sworn into office on the 20th.
2. Every legend in the game wrote their own lyrics. This is hip-hop music, not political speeches. By the way, I’m pretty sure Obama could and has written some of his speeches in entirety. As I showed in my original post, when Lil Wayne does this he does not have the same effect. (see “100 Million Dollars”)
3. Lil Wayne doesn’t just get help on a couple verses. For example, Gillie Da Kid wrote ALL of Tha Carter 1. I think Drake wrote ALL of Drought 3. When I first heard him, I told my homie Andrew P “this is Wayne on Drought 3!”
4. He is the fakest not only because he spits ghostwritten lyrics. He is a fake blood (and reps it every chance he gets) that didn’t make a sound when confronted by real gang members. He kisses men on the lips that have no biological relation to him and passes it off like he’s a mafioso. He tells reporters to talk to him like they’re talking to Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
4. I appreciate your post, but Lil Wayne is in no way the greatest rapper alive. Greatest entertainer alive? Now that’s an argument I can stomach.
a politicians entire job is not to make speeches. speeches are just a small part of their duties.a rappers entire profession is to create rap
^^ oh snap! what now JHScherck?
ps. word on the street is the Birdman is looking for me!
no way did drake ghost write D3, he was still doing degrassi. Also Wayne has not had a ghost writer since C 1, when Gillie gave Wayne shit lyrics.
Also dr dre has all his shit ghost written, even by jay z and u don’t see anyone calling him out
I like this J Character!
J – you’re wrong about Dre. Jermaine Dupri called him out for it on 106 & Park way back. No one cared though because Dre crafts music from the inside out i.e. does way more than rap.
Diddy gets down like Dre, too. He gets away with it cause it’s common knowledge and he crafts the entire sound of a record. Remember “dont worry if I write rhymes, I write checks!” Skillz, Royce da 5′9′, and 50 (before he blew up) have all written for Puff.
Love,
Cfro (the hip-hop encyclopedia)
ps. The lyrics from C1 were on point in my opinion. The beats sucked, though… at least in comparison to C2.
I didn’t know bout jermaine dupri, what I was tryin to say was it’s not a thing that dre gets his stuff ghost written cause it still sounds dope
Ur right though his beats make up for it 100 times over.
What I think is messed up is that Wayne won’t acknowledge gillie regardless if it’s good or not
really liked reading this post, I look forward for other articles you write
