In a recent study, just 53% of those polled say capitalism is better than socialism. I believe very strongly that capitalism is better, but I’ll save my reasoning for the comment sections assuming this starts a good debate. Take a second and select what you prefer in this poll. Ideologically – socialism is better, but in terms of the modern globalized market it won’t work and if you look at the benefits and opportunities which essential capitalism can provide when there are NOT caps on individual entrepreneurial endeavors then it can be extremely succesful. But unfortunately in much of the developing world there are long standing histories of oligarchy and aristocracy that prevent true capitalism from taking root.
