I figured with Cam’s new album Crime Pays
5. Cam’ron announces that he’s filming his own version of Chris Hansen’s Dateline NBC show, To Catch a Predator.
‘We set up a similar situation where we are videotaping people thinking they’re gonna meet little kids,’ he continued. ‘When they get there, it’s gonna be me and [my manger] Big Joe like, ‘What the hell are you doing, you damn pervert? What the f— is wrong with you, coming to meet a 13-year-old boy?’ We’re gonna talk to them and not let them leave until we find out what’s wrong with them.’ -Source
That is funny in itself, but what’s really hilarious is Cam’s explanation for why the project got shelved.
When I was talking to my lawyers, and the people I was talking about doing it with; We were going to get sued. We did a couple. We shot [the segements]. Basically we’re doing this with no authorization, no law enforcement there, and we were kind of getting a little physical, you know what I’m saying? We kind of put it to a halt cause we didn’t want to go through the legal procedures to do it. And we didn’t think it’d be worth it, anyway. -Source
Bummer. I would have paid big money to watch Cam and his friends beat up child predators.
4. Cam’ron embaresses 50 Cent on Hot 97. 50 was on Hot 97 talking about how he could shut down any project on Koch Records. Cam got wind of this, and took offense since a lot of Diplomat projects were under Koch Records. Cam calls up, and a seemingly normal conversation begins. Then Killa goes off, questions 50’s willingness to let Prodigy sign a deal with Koch, and starts mocking G-Unit sales. Cuurtis! Just watch. To 50’s credit, he started an online trend of sorts when he released a diss VIDEO to Killa on YouTube within a couple days.
3. Killa Season. Have you ever seen this movie? It came out the same time as Cam’s Killa Season album, and sold over 1,000,000 dvd copies. It’s probably the most ridiculous movie ever created. To give you a better idea, the first scene has Cam peeing on a dude while repeatedly saying, “no homo.” Here’s another one of my favorites. What’s poppin?
2. Cam’ron on Anderson Cooper. Cam’ron tells Anderson that he wouldn’t call the police even if he knew a serial killer was living next door. “I’d probably move…”
1. If you know Killa, then you saw this one coming. Cam appeared on The O’Reilly Factor to talk about the influence of rap lyrics on school children. Look out for Cam’s rock impersonation and a lively debate. Killa!
