“The Word”

Sir Nigel [MySpace] sent this to me last night, and I thought it was worth posting. I think Mr. Hill’s song is an example of powerful, political hip-hop. Give it a listen, and pay close attention to the lyrics.

This is my song about the racial slur “nigger/nigga”. I feel it’s necessary to discuss the topic. I provided my $0.02. I hope you enjoy.

Good track/message. I actually don’t let anyone call me that friend or foe. I always correct em & say you can say bro, fam, homie or address me by my name. Otherwise your asking for a UFC beat down. More often than not they’ll respect it.
Makes sense. Willie Lynch started a bad thing. No need to make it positive. If someone says they are going to rape you i don’t need you to turn it around like it’s a good thing if you pronounce it differently. : )
    Much Love/Respect
