Royce 5′9 Preparing To Take Over This Summer

Royce was the winner of Hiptics poll that asked, “who’s the illest lyricist in Slaughterhouse?” Royce, the king of D.O.A. freestyles, earned 47% of all votes. Joe Budden was second with 31% of the votes. Joell and Crooked came in third and fourth respectively. Anyway, Nickel Nine has a lot of new material coming out this summer and will be making the rounds on the Rock The Bells tour. See for yourself:

The next few months will be very busy ones for Royce 5′9, as he will finally release his Street Hop (and folks will not be disappointed) LP in September, the highly anticipated Slaughterhouse LP in July and a precursor EP, The Revival, to Street Hop on July 7th.

With so much good music ready to be unleashed on the masses Royce asserts, “I’m looking forward to releasing new music and touring this summer. Street Hop has been in the works for almost 2 years and the release date will be here before you know it. The Revival will give people a chance to see what I’ve been up to and what to expect from the album. The month of July will belong to Slaughterhouse with the release of our full length group album and
solo EP’s from me followed by Joell, Joey and Crooked. We will show fans why we are the ones to watch.”
