Obama Is A One-Term President?

So I was reading up on the latest political news and it hit me. President Obama is not going to be able to coast into a second term. Remember, President Obama starting leading in the polls following the economic crash in November. He was the one American’s believed would best handle the economic crisis. I think the quote below might come back to haunt the President in the form of a campaign attack-ad, and make his re-election a challenge.
Republicans criticize Obama’s warning in February, when he urged the Congress to pass the stimulus.
“We’re moving quickly because we’re told that if we don’t move quickly, that the economy is going keep on getting worse, and we’ll have another 2 or 3 or 4 million jobs lost this year,” he said at the time.
But, even with the stimulus, the economy has shed 3.4 million jobs in just six months, according to the Department of Labor. [CNN]
Don’t get me wrong, the 2012 election is a long way off, but with the economy continuing to worsen, I can’t help but think that the Republicans will be able to play the ‘change’ game next time around. Let’s just hope Sarah Palin isn’t the nominee.
Hiptics.com is updated every single day with your kind of hip hop:

The republicans do not have a coherent message or someone to rally behind. 3 years is 3 years, and that could easily change. However, one does not win an election by saying the other guy is wrong. One wins an election by having a coherent platform. (Even if every bit of that platform is a lie and you don’t follow through with it)
The republican coalition that was formed in the years leading up to and including the Reagan presidency has been tearing for years. Now we are watching it finally fall apart.
…Paving the way for Ron Paul!
