Royce Da 5′9 “The Revival EP” Album Review x Download

Before I get into The Revival EP review, I posted my Royce Da 5′9 interview earlier this week. It’s definitely worth a read, and I incorporated YOUR questions with my own. Now to the featured presentation. The Revival EP is only four tracks, but it’s heat.
01. Gun Harmonizing - Crazy track where Royce compares his rhyme skills to an AK-47.
I’m hotter than a pair of boots and a coat and a turtle neck/The best rapper alive could be the best rapper to die in a murderous/If you ain’t get it by now I’m suicidal, I’m loud/A nigga better than me is who I ain’t heard of yet/So I ain’t murdered yet/He ain’t even been born, his momma’s a virgin, she ain’t even fertile yet
02. Count For Nothing - Royce incorporates a Chuck D sample into his rhymes. If you’re familiar with Nototrious B.I.G’s “Ten Crack Commandments” then you’ll recognize it. Pretty dope song.
It’s ain’t an arm when it’s tucked in my box-ers
It’s Lindsay Lohan niggas call me fire crotch
03. Warriors ft. Joe Budden, Joel Ortiz, & Crooked I – I’m always cool with another new Slaughterhouse song. I think Joe came weakest on this which surprised me. Royce, on the other hand, murders the track.
Don’t be comparin’ us to rappers
Compare us to the Arabs this a terrorist attack
Lord have mercy we here to destroy everything
You niggas is butter in front of fuckin’ machete swing
04. Street Hop 2010 – Royce mixes some serious vocab with even more serious wordplay. No hook, just rhymes. It’s got me excited for Street Hop, not that I wasn’t already.
This is Street Hop, no rules
The rest of you niggas watered down like O’Doul’s
