Diddy and Dirty Money team up with Drake for their latest hit, “Hurt.” Diddy is the star of “Hurt,” showing off his singing voice, which is tastefully enhanced by auto-tune. However, the ladies of Dirty Money add a soulful flavor to the song that Diddy nor Drake can duplicate. Speaking of the Canadian MC, Drake pops up for a quality cameo verse.

And there’s pieces of your hair that’s still sitting in my sink
And you still got underwear that’s sitting in the dryer
How come every time you’re suspicious I’m a liar
You stand out, I can hear your whistling in choir
And that’s the main reason you’re the misses I admire

With “Angels,” “Love Come Down,” and now “Hurt,” available for download, what’s Diddy’s business strategy?

Diddy says he’s just taking his time. His Last Train to Paris doesn’t arrive until next year, but he’s going to continue to put out music and get the audience ready for his LP.

“We’re just trying to roll it out properly,” Diddy told MTV News. “I wanted a chance to lay out songs for you. A lot of singles we putting out now — that’s the introduction. We didn’t even get to that Train music. We’re hitting you with warning shots, letting you know we’re here. [MTV]

Founder and Executive Editor of Hiptics. I launched Hiptics in 2008. I spent the last 4 years at Denison University where I hosted a weekly hip-hop radio show on 91.1 WDUB (one of America's Top 20 Most Popular College Radio Stations). I also served as Public Relations Chairman, Program Director, and Webmaster of the station. I genuinely love hip-hop, and have been involved in nearly every aspect of the culture starting with selling my own music in Middle School (haha, true story). I won the Culture Jam Freestyle Battle at Denison both times I participated. I brought Wiz Khalifa, EbGb, and D.Julien to campus for a free Hiptics show in January 2010. I've interviewed everyone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to the CEO of Death Row Records. I've DJ'd for Wiz Khalifa and Sam Adams, as well as at countless parties and campus events. There's a lot more to be said, but I don't want to be THAT guy. My point is this: I'm not just another one of these hip-hop bloggers. If the Internet didn't exist, I'd still be in the game.
